Maggie Bera is an award-winning musical theatre actress based in NYC.
A proud member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA, she has appeared Off-Broadway, regionally, and in national commercials.
Known for her powerhouse voice and versatile stage presence, Maggie received the BroadwayWorld Award – Best Performance in a Musical for originating the role of Karen in Powerline Road Off-Broadway with Theatre Now. She also starred in The Baker’s Wife at Theatre Row NYC, alongside composer Stephen Schwartz, and originated the role of Ruby in Helen on 86th Street at the Chernuchin Theatre.

Maggie appears in numerous TV, print, and radio commercials, and can be heard on Joriah Kwame’s TAPES: A Song Cycle, inspired by 13 Reasons Why. She voiced Jane in Lady Jane’s Radio Takeover on the musical podcast One Million Musicals.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Maggie got her start singing the National Anthem for professional sports teams like the NY Mets, Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets.
She studied for 8 years with the Paper Mill Playhouse Summer Musical Theatre Conservatory under the direction of Mark Hoebee and Patrick Parker. She then went on to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre from Texas State University.
Maggie is also the founder of Actor Aesthetic, the popular actor lifestyle blog, podcast and online learning community.
Her acting + entrepreneurial work is featured on Broadway World, Playbill, Backstage, BroadwayBox (THIS IS PRETTY COOL!), Babes Who Hustle, and college programs around the world.
